History and Pledge of Allegiance

“I J u s t P l a y”

When I’m building in the block, please don’t say I’m
“Just playing” for, you see, I am learning as I play, about
Balance and shapes, any colors.
Who knows? I may be a architect someday.

When I’m getting all dressed up, setting the table, caring for
the babies. Don’t get the idea “I’m just playing” for you see, I
am learning as I play. I may be a mother or father someday.

Practical life

When you see me cooking, tasting foods, cleaning , washing my care ,
Please don’t think that because I enjoy it, it is “just playing”
I’m learning to follow direction, see difference, and experience Practical Life,
I am preparing for tomorrow . Today, I am a child and enjoying my life.

When you see me “reading” , or to an imaginary audience, please don’t laugh and think I’m
“just playing”, pretending . for, you see, I’m learning as I play. I may be a teacher someday.
